Jennifer Lopez has officially filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, ending their two-year marriage. The couple separated months ago, with court documents listing April 26, 2024, as their separation date. Lopez, the mother of 16-year-old twins Emme and Max, filed for divorce on August 20, 2024, at the Los Angeles County Superior Court, marking the same day as their second wedding anniversary.

According to sources close to Lopez, she “was done waiting” for Affleck to make their marriage work. Despite her efforts, Lopez felt “heartbroken” over the situation. The source added, “She tried really hard to make things work and is heartbroken.
